Happy New Year everyone!! Let's make 2009 bigger, better, and longer than 2008!
On the night of December 20th, my friend Michie and I caught an overnight bus to Osaka. This started my exciting 4-day venture to some of Japan's most famous parts. There are oodles of photos, which you can check out by clicking here.

Byodo-in Temple (famous temple on the 10yen coin)

Kyoto Imperial Palace (went on a tour - in English!!)
Nijo-jo Castle
Sanjuu Sangen-Doo (has 1001 statues of the god Kannon)
Toji Temple
Kiyomizu Dera Temple (one of Japan's most famous temples)
Kyoto Tower
Fushimi-Inari (mountain path with thousands of torii)
Ginkaku-ji (the Silver Pavillion)
Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavillion)
Heian Jinguu (has Japan's biggest torii)
Tokyo (with the Beavises)
Odaiba (man-made island)
Shibuya
