Wind vs Festivities

I thought I was going mad when I heard the whinny of a horse near my apartment.  Playing games too much, I told myself.  But it turns out I was right.  The strong wind had carried the sound from the car park near by apartment, where a heap of people had gathered for more Onbashira-related traditions.

This boy, riding atop the horse, represented the emperor in a small parade that included some acrobatic-like aspects, with props being thrown, caught, or balanced.

The wind was a formidable foe to the performers, but to their credit they managed to pull off most of their tricks, like the one below.
